1. Guest plans and accounts
You can start without an account. Guest plans and tasks are stored on your device. Sample content is fictional. When you connect an Apple account, eligible personal plans can migrate to that account; an original local backup is preserved. Shared plans use authenticated cloud services. We process your account identifier, profile name and email address if supplied by the sign-in provider, including an Apple private relay address.
2. Information you put into Biruvo
We process plan titles, dates, place labels and selected venue coordinates; tasks, lists, notes and polls; attendance responses; group memberships and member relationships; and images you choose to upload. Shared information is available to authorized members. Private memory content remains associated with your signed-in account. A selected meeting place is not continuous tracking of your device location. We do not import your phone's address book.
Shared expenses include amounts, currencies, participants, payment allocations, balances and payment records entered by members. These are planning records, not bank transfers. Avoid adding sensitive information that you do not want other plan members to see.
3. Invitations
A shared invitation URL is a bearer link. Anyone who has it may see the plan or group title and cover preview. Joining requires the app's sign-in and invitation checks, including organizer approval when enabled. Invitations can expire, reach their use limit or be revoked. Sharing a link with a messaging service lets that service fetch and potentially retain a preview. Revocation cannot erase copies already retained by recipients or messaging platforms.
4. Notifications and service records
With notification permission, we store push-device tokens and delivery preferences to send relevant updates. Plan actions and notification read state support the activity history. Authentication, request, error and delivery records support security and reliability. Providers may process IP addresses and network metadata. We do not add advertising tracking, sell personal information or use these records for targeted advertising.
5. Purchases
Apple processes annual subscriptions and one-time lifetime purchases. We receive transaction identifiers and purchase or entitlement status associated with your account to validate access, restore purchases and prevent misuse. We do not receive full payment-card or bank details. Canceling an annual subscription and deleting a Biruvo account are separate actions.
6. Support
If you email us, we process your contact details, message and any attachments to answer your request. Email is handled through Gmail. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes or payment-card details.
7. Providers and hosting
We use Supabase for authentication, shared data and private image storage; Apple for sign-in, push notifications and purchases; and Cloudflare for this website and invitation previews. The configured Supabase database region is Ireland. Providers may process information in other countries under their applicable safeguards and terms. Earlier iCloud content and device backups are subject to your Apple settings.
Cloudflare may process request and security information to deliver and protect the website. We do not add advertising scripts, third-party analytics, marketing cookies or a visitor-account system to these pages. Links to Apple or other external sites are governed by those services' policies.
8. Retention and deletion
We retain account and shared content as needed to provide the service. Local information remains until removed from the app or device storage. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle requests. Certain transaction, security, fraud-prevention or legally required records may remain after account deletion; provider backups may delay final removal. Copies exported or retained by others are outside our direct control.
Use the in-app account deletion action or follow our account deletion guide. We verify ownership before disclosing or deleting private information. We do not promise immediate erasure from every backup or disconnected device.
9. Your choices and rights
You can manage photo and notification permissions in iOS Settings, edit available profile and plan information, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data. Rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent or complain to a data protection authority depend on applicable law. Where applicable, processing is based on providing the service you request, your consent for optional features, legitimate interests in security and support, or legal obligations.
10. Children, security and changes
Biruvo is a general social-planning app, not a service specifically directed at children. Account use must meet applicable age and consent requirements. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly. We use access controls and platform protections, but no service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this policy as our service changes and provide additional notice where required.
